Freight ShippingUpdated a year ago
For large volume orders, bulky products (like folding tables), very heavy items (over 150lbs), we will ship your order with a freight carrier.Â
đź‘Š The EventStable Difference: we do not charge a premium for residential freight deliveries, or those to a church, school, or other limited access area.
Will They Call Me Before Delivery?
Not every freight carrier will automatically book the shipment with a call before delivery. Please let us know at the time of ordering, or in the order notes if you would like a call before delivery, so the shipment can be booked accordingly.
EventStable cannot be held liable for missed deliveries, and does not guarantee a delivery time or window. You can call in to the carrier or check online for live updates once tracking information is active.
Curbside Freight Delivery
For freight shipments delivering to a residential or limited access location, the carrier will deliver to the nearest point that the truck can accommodate. For example: If there is a long narrow driveway leading to the delivery location, the carrier will deliver at the entrance of the driveway. It will be the customers responsibility to assist in getting the shipment to the final location.
Will They Bring My Freight Inside?
Freight carriers will not bring the shipment inside, unless specifically booked as a “white glove delivery.”
We can run quotes for white glove deliveries, but beware: they are usually very costly. Most often, the carrier will bring the freight as close to the final destination as the truck will allow.
If you have a loading dock, or a forklift, you can use these to make unloading freight easier. Otherwise, the carrier will be booked with a liftgate.
đź’Ş Oversized freight, (like long folding tables) may have to be off-loaded by hand. We suggest keeping an eye on the delivery date, and having helping-hands available when the shipment arrives to help offload and unpack.
If you need assistance with off-loading oversize freight, (too large for lift gate service) please contact our customer service department so we can assist with making arrangements on your behalf with the freight carrier. In the event items are not able to be off-loaded by hand, a fork lift rental may be required. Any additional fees accrued will be billed to the customer.
Expedited and Guaranteed Deliveries
If you need your items by a specific date, reach out to our sales team for an expedited or guaranteed delivery quote. We will try our best to book with a carrier capable of meeting the deadline.
It is still important to note that even a “guaranteed delivery” is not 100% guaranteed- on the slight chance the freight carrier runs into serious delays.
These can be situations like emergencies and dangerous weather- which are both unforeseen circumstances, that neither the carrier or EventStable is responsible for, or capable of influencing.
We will do everything in our power to aid in getting your shipment delivered on time, but it is important to have a back-up plan just in case.
Shipping Small Orders
Small items in low quantities can usually ship with parcel carriers, like FedEx. Although shipping damage is rare, we highly recommend that our customers thoroughly inspect each shipment just after taking delivery.
All boxes should be opened, inspected and pieces counted to ensure a complete delivery. Any damages and or/shortages must be noted at the time of delivery. Damages and/or shortages must be reported within 24 hours of receipt to EventStable.
You'll be required to submit a Claim Request directly on EvenStable's website.
Please ensure that you pass along this information to the person responsible for receiving the shipment.
