Missed Deliveries, Reconsignments & DamageUpdated a year ago
It is important to have someone on-site at the time of delivery to sign for the shipment. Most deliveries are made within normal business hours. If you might be unavailable during that time, please call the freight company prior to delivery to set up a delivery appointment, to avoid missing the shipment.
If a delivery is missed, the carrier will likely charge a re-delivery fee at the customer’s expense. If you are planning on being away for an extended period, please inform us so we can hold your shipment to be received after your return.
If you need the shipment reconsigned to a different location, please tell us as soon as possible. Check over your order confirmation closely to ensure the shipping address is correct.
If you notice anything out of place, please inform us as soon as possible. If the delivery address is changed after the freight has been picked up, reconsignment fees will be charged at the customer’s expense.
Although shipping damage is rare, we highly recommend that our customers thoroughly inspect each shipment just after taking delivery. All boxes should be opened, inspected and pieces counted to ensure a complete delivery.
Damages and/or shortages must be reported within 24 hours of receipt using our online claim form.
In the event of damage, you'll be asked to submit a Claim Request.
Please ensure that you pass along this information to the person responsible for receiving the shipment.
